Our home course has been moved to Sabino Canyon. Located in Northeast Tucson, Sabino Canyon is part of Coronado National Forest and is considered one of the premier natural areas in Southern Arizona.
Runners will begin the race on the tram road north of the Visitor Center and finish the race on Bear Canyon Trail just before the parking lot. The terrain is a combination of wide, paved roads (75%) and sandy dirt trails (25%). The elevation profile of the course makes for a challenging but fast race.
Spectators must pay parking fees ($8 per vehicle) or display an Interagency Pass or Coronado National Forest Pass on their dashboard.
When visiting, please be respectful of wildlife and note that pets are not allowed in the canyon.
